Terms of use
Use the app like a discovery tool, not a promise of perfect data.
Last updated: March 30, 2026. These terms describe the basic rules for using MatchWatch and the third-party data that helps power the experience.
Service scope
MatchWatch helps people explore movies through songs, soundtrack matches, and mood-based recommendations. The service is provided on an informational basis and may change as the product evolves.
Third-party data and availability
Search results, soundtrack information, artwork, and watch-provider availability may rely on third-party services including Spotify and TMDB. Those sources can change, rate limit requests, return stale data, or become unavailable without notice.
Acceptable use
- Do not abuse the search endpoints or attempt to degrade the service.
- Do not scrape, copy, or republish the app in ways that violate third-party rights.
- Do not use the product for unlawful, deceptive, or harmful activity.
Intellectual property and attribution
MatchWatch retains its own app code, design, and original recommendation framing. Third-party trademarks, track metadata, poster art, and movie information remain the property of their respective owners. TMDB attribution should remain visible wherever TMDB-backed data is used.
No warranties
The service is provided as is and as available. MatchWatch does not guarantee complete accuracy, uninterrupted uptime, or universal watch-provider coverage across regions and platforms.
Future revisions
MatchWatch may update these terms from time to time as the product evolves. Continued use of the service after material changes means you agree to the updated terms.
